Sentenac House Interiors — A Boutique Design Atelier
A Boutique Design Atelier

A home
no one else
has.

We design rooms slowly — through custom furniture, commissioned art, layered materials, and a hundred details chosen for one family only. Not a Pinterest board. Not the house down the street. Yours.

Your home will be unmistakably yours. Custom pieces, commissioned art, and a design language no one else has. We pledge to honor the past while reimagining the future.

The Three Studios

One Aesthetic.
Three Ways In.

Every project, regardless of tier, is authored through the Sentenac House Formula and held to a single standard. The difference is scope, custom depth, and who leads — never the taste.

The Sentenac House Formula

How a home becomes
unmistakably yours.

PHASE 01

Discovery

Application, paid consult, and a slow conversation about how you actually live, gather, and want to be remembered in this home.

PHASE 02

Concept

Mood, palette, materials, and architectural moves. Custom pieces are commissioned here — furniture, art, millwork, lighting.

PHASE 03

Author & Source

We source through artisans, antique dealers, and our trade library. Every piece is approved before a single PO leaves the studio.

PHASE 04

Install

Single-day reveal. Beds made, art hung, candles lit. You arrive to a finished home — not a punch list.

Who We Talk To

A Sentenac House Client.

The most important thing on this site. If you read this and feel seen — we're already speaking the same language.

Yes — This Is You

  • You're 32–55, raising a family, with a home worth investing $100K+ to make truly yours.
  • You've been to the model home and your neighbor's house — and you want neither.
  • You want pieces with a story. A commissioned table. A one-of-one painting. A hand-glazed tile no one else has.
  • Faith, family, and stewardship are baked into how you make decisions.
  • You'd rather wait for the right thing than buy a placeholder.
  • You say "I trust you — just tell me what to do."

No — This Isn't Us

  • You want Pinterest replication. We don't copy — we author.
  • Your full project investment is under $40K. A stager will serve you well.
  • You're shopping designers on price. Procurement margin is how we deliver custom.
  • You want shock-value design or trend chasing.
  • The household is split on the process. Both spouses must trust us, or we politely decline.
  • You want it fast. Custom is slow on purpose.

Our test: would you be proud to tell the story of a custom piece we made for you at a dinner party? Then we should talk.

What We Believe

Six things we won't compromise.

i.

Uniqueness

No client gets a room someone else could have. Custom is the default — not the upsell.

ii.

Integrity

We price what the work is worth. We say what we mean. We stand behind every install.

iii.

Faith

This studio is a calling. We lead with prayer, patience, and trust — and design with reverence.

iv.

Family

We design for the people who live there. Not the people who'll see it on Instagram.

v.

Quality

Materials, craftsmanship, and finish that still feel right twenty years from now.

vi.

Stewardship

Of our clients' money, our team's time, the land we build on, and the gifts we've been given.

The Atelier

Nohea Sentenac
Founder & Creative Director

I started rearranging rooms at four and sketching floor plans at eleven. Two decades and twelve years of corporate operations later, I built Sentenac House — the studio I wished existed.

My role here is creative direction, not drafting. I author the concept for every Signature home, set the standard our senior designers carry forward, and protect the brand from the inside out. Our team handles the orders, the spec sheets, the install logistics — so I can do what I'm here to do: see the home our client can't yet picture, and build it one custom piece at a time.

Sentenac House is a family business rooted in faith. We design with reverence — for the past, for craftsmanship, for the people who will live in the rooms we make. We're not for everyone. We're for the family willing to wait for the right thing.

By Application

Begin a Project

We take six to twelve projects a year. Every client starts with our pre-consultation questionnaire — a slow, generous conversation about your home, family, and the way you want to live. If we're a fit, we book a paid 90-minute consult with Nohea.

Our project floor is $10,000 in design fees with a $40,000 total investment minimum.
If that isn't right for you yet — bookmark us. We'll be here.
