Why a custom dining table will outlast every trend in your house.
The case for commissioning, not shopping. And how to know when a piece is worth waiting eighteen weeks for.
We design rooms slowly — through custom furniture, commissioned art, layered materials, and a hundred details chosen for one family only. Not a Pinterest board. Not the house down the street. Yours.
Your home will be unmistakably yours. Custom pieces, commissioned art, and a design language no one else has. We pledge to honor the past while reimagining the future.
— The Sentenac House PromiseEvery project, regardless of tier, is authored through the Sentenac House Formula and held to a single standard. The difference is scope, custom depth, and who leads — never the taste.

Application, paid consult, and a slow conversation about how you actually live, gather, and want to be remembered in this home.
Mood, palette, materials, and architectural moves. Custom pieces are commissioned here — furniture, art, millwork, lighting.
We source through artisans, antique dealers, and our trade library. Every piece is approved before a single PO leaves the studio.
Single-day reveal. Beds made, art hung, candles lit. You arrive to a finished home — not a punch list.
The most important thing on this site. If you read this and feel seen — we're already speaking the same language.
Our test: would you be proud to tell the story of a custom piece we made for you at a dinner party? Then we should talk.
We take six to twelve projects a year. These are the ones we want to be known for.
No client gets a room someone else could have. Custom is the default — not the upsell.
We price what the work is worth. We say what we mean. We stand behind every install.
This studio is a calling. We lead with prayer, patience, and trust — and design with reverence.
We design for the people who live there. Not the people who'll see it on Instagram.
Materials, craftsmanship, and finish that still feel right twenty years from now.
Of our clients' money, our team's time, the land we build on, and the gifts we've been given.
I started rearranging rooms at four and sketching floor plans at eleven. Two decades and twelve years of corporate operations later, I built Sentenac House — the studio I wished existed.
My role here is creative direction, not drafting. I author the concept for every Signature home, set the standard our senior designers carry forward, and protect the brand from the inside out. Our team handles the orders, the spec sheets, the install logistics — so I can do what I'm here to do: see the home our client can't yet picture, and build it one custom piece at a time.
Sentenac House is a family business rooted in faith. We design with reverence — for the past, for craftsmanship, for the people who will live in the rooms we make. We're not for everyone. We're for the family willing to wait for the right thing.

Why "high-end" isn't the same as collected. A field guide to the difference.
The pieces, places, and quiet moves that make a house feel inherited, even when it's new.
We take six to twelve projects a year. Every client starts with our pre-consultation questionnaire — a slow, generous conversation about your home, family, and the way you want to live. If we're a fit, we book a paid 90-minute consult with Nohea.
Our project floor is $10,000 in design fees with a $40,000 total investment minimum.
If that isn't right for you yet — bookmark us. We'll be here.
