Where it all began.
Sentenac — pronounced "sen-teh-NAHK" — is a small medieval village in the Ariège region of the French Pyrénées. Stone houses, narrow streets, mountain air, and a way of living tied to the land and the seasons. It's where my husband's family is from, three generations back, before they crossed the ocean to build a life in America.
I've never been. But when it came time to name the studio, nothing else felt right.
This work is about legacy, heirloom, and the idea that the things we build now will be the inheritance someone else remembers. Sentenac House is not just a name — it's a lineage.
"Homes are made of stories. The best ones hold the past without announcing it."
